12 Weeks to go! Woohoo! Besides feeling like a hot air balloon, having massive heartburn, and tossing and turning in my sleep all night, things are going great. I'm sure Thomas is wishing we still had our spare bed. My latest craving is PANCAKES! I can't get enough of them. Thomas and I have been watching all the seasons of Grey's Anatomy and it's def. not the best show to watch while you're pregnant. I've cried at least once a day for the last couple of weeks. We've got the baby's furniture together and the artwork for his nursery hung.
My newest anxiety attacks lately haven't been over how am I going to feed him or change him. Now it's "Oh my gosh, what if he turns out like that child". It happens when I see an unruly screamer in food lion or a potty mouthed teenager. If I dwell on that too long I just get completely freaked out. I've been thinking how I'll handle discipline and what I'll do when he does make a mistake. I know I'm super qualified in child discipline, I can control 27 kids at once for 8 hours a day, but the idea of disciplining my own if currently freaking me out. Good thing I have at least a year before I have to start!

25 Weeks
It's amazing how these weeks have flown by! Today my email says that he's the length of a man's workboot. His wiggles are getting stronger but he seems to stop as soon as Thomas tries to feel. I'm feeling pretty great besides the back pain and never ending trips to the kitchen. My stomach seems to be a bottomless pit.
We've decided on a theme for the nursery. Dalmatians and Fire hydrants. It'll be done all in red, black, and white including lots of SPOTS of course! Spots are the boy equivalent of Polka dots :)
Names we're considering : Trenton Mason; Tayden Elliot; Cooper Mason; Sparticus (j/k)
He's already got some nicknames. Mikki and the boys call him Tator. People at church call him Peanut. Who knows what type of nicknames he'll end up being called!
Naming a baby is a SUPER big decision. It took us forever to name our dog!

24 Weeks
Well I figured everyone else is doing it and I'm super bad at writing in my baby journal, so maybe if I write on the computer I might keep a better account of how this journey of pregnancy is going. You should have to take a college course on BABIES before this happens to you. You learn 10 new things every day! Today is the 24 week mark and the computer says that the baby is the size of an ear of corn. He must be the size of a state fair, blue ribbon winning ear of corn because I feel as though he's a bowling ball instead. Today I Googled pictures of 24 week Bellys to make sure I wasn't a freak of nature. He wiggles mostly at night or after I drink the forbidden Diet Mt. Dew. You still can't feel the movements from the outside though.
We've already been blessed with nursery furniture and many outfits! He would have a name already if his daddy wasn't so stubborn! The thing I'm most nervous about right now is my working situation next year and putting him in daycare at only 3 months old. I don't think I could stand to stay at home all day every day, but I don't want to stress over school and feel torn about doing my best at school and doing my best for the baby. I know teachers do it all the time and I know the Lord will open up some opportunities and it'll all work out. That's my biggest prayer request currently.
